St. Louis trades
Hiroki Kuroda, SP, NYY '12: $5M
St. Louis will pay $1.75M of his salary.

to San Francisco for
Brody Colvin, SP, PHI, minor
Tommy Joseph, C, SF, minor

St. Louis is paying 35% of Kuroda's salary which = $1.75M...

We can't trade money directly... only pay for a percentage of a players salary (up to 50%)
