Kyle... Your bid right now is Illegal. You can club option the last year but have to set a price for the club option that is 20% higher than the regular years. Also spell out the years in more detail so we know what you mean. Club Option in 2017.... The 4 years would be 12,13,14,and 15.... co 17 skips 16..... you can't do more than 5 years...
So a better way to post would be 4 years @ $5.5M + 1 club option year @ ____?___ (figure needs to be 20% higher than the $5.5M).
That way there is no confusion and your bid will stand. If we are unsure of what the bid means it will automatically be deemed illegal.
Not picking on you because I see a lot of deals worded like this and hopefully other will clean up their bids too.
