the 2013 restricted free agent bidding is now open and will close sunday 3/17 at 10 pm EST. NO EXCEPTIONS will be allowed. any bids received after the dealdline will be disreguarded. We have a bidding table to determine the winning bid so when submiting your bids the avg. annual salary amount of years of contract and the point value according to the table must all be included failure to do so will result in a illegal bid.
Exmple Josh Hamilton 3 years 5.5M 24.75 points
When submitting bids your team name rfa bids in the subject line All bids must be sent via PM to the member Commisioner. Once all winning bids have been announced the team that restricted the player will have 48 hours to decide whether to match or decline the winning bid. If a player is not bid on the team that restricted them has the opportunity to give that player a MLB contract of atleast 500k the league minimum.

If a player is not bid on the team that restricted them has the opportunity to give that player HIS ACTUAL MLB contract. This is how it was done last year.

I thought UFA we posted the player and Bid on him! Not send in Blind bids..what is up isnt that how you guys did it last year??? IDK Im new but getting confused in this....So all year do we now do blind bid an PM them? and what is the window then to submit the bid every week? I thought we were doing RFA first then UFA...because teams still on trax have not added a lot of players that are on their ProBoards rosters! Very hard to know who is a UFA because of that and not doing RFA yet...idk just like to have clarity please thanks
